College Career & Young Adults

Young adult Christians face unique struggles in their Christian walk. We are establishing this ministry to provide a safe and pleasant environment where young people, age 18 - 24, can develop important social relationships with other Christians while growing in their faith.

Apostolic Connections

Young adults gather for this inter-generational lunch at the Young Adult Ministry table each month to enjoy diverse speakers from a variety of professions and backgrounds. Each talk is designed to connect our faith with our work and daily living.

We strive to connect people of all ethnic backgrounds with varied professions and goals in their 20's, and 30's, with the Apostolic Church. This is accomplished by developing and supporting young adult groups and creating a sense of community through various spiritual, social, and educational opportunities. Our Goals: Assist church and diocese in setting up new Young Adult Ministries Help existing Young Adult Ministries enhance their outreach to others Provide spiritual, social, and educational opportunities for young adults throughout the Diocese.

This ministry includes fellowship activities in addition to the ministries of Sunday School, Discipleship Training, and Music and Mission Education. The purpose of this ministry is to provide general fellowship among peer groups and to serve as an outreach ministry to others. Activities include:

    Family and Friends Days
    Bible/Topical Studies
    Community Outreach Activities
    Singles Monthly Socials
    Seminars and Conferences at Mid-Atlantic Diocese (State Assembly)
    Singles Activities, Gospel Music and Concerts
    Trips and Outings
    Mission Trips and Projects

That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace: Psalm 144:12
